We all have
experienced the multiple party barriers, delays, confusion, and
bureaucracy that have produced ineffective and adversarial claim
outcomes in the Ohio BWC State Fund Workers’ Compensation
system. These challenges have contributed to increased Employer
premiums and difficult cost reduction management. The
current Ohio system involves several parties in the claims management
process. These segregated entities (Employer, Injured Worker, Physician,
MCO, TPA, BWC), provide conflicting information and duplicate efforts
which produces inefficient outcomes. Confused injured workers often
seek legal representation to navigate the system, which is never
in the best interest of the injured worker or the Employer.
The Mission of ORMP is to develop an Integrated Risk Management
Plan between local Occupational Health Providers, Employers, and
Third Party Claims Administrators that provides a comprehensive
solution to control employers’ workers’ compensation
costs.
We are committed to working with Employers to return employees back
to their original position. By supporting the Official Disability
Guidelines and enacting Evidence-Based Disability Plans, this can
be attained more efficiently and objectively.
As our associated TPA, ORM specializes in reducing the risk for
high risk and penalty-rated employers. Their claim expertise and
efficient, proactive approach yield optimal premium reduction outcomes. |
